The Barrington High School Bands provide musical education and a performance outlet for hundreds of Barrington students. Our goal is to provide this musical education with all the additional benefits of participation in a fun and challenging group activity. Band students can choose from several ensembles, giving them many options which they can match up with their personal interests. Music is a unique language which communicates along many different paths. From the lyric poetry of a fine concert piece, to the improvisational creativity of jazz, to the intense energy of pounding percussion, music gives our students a way to express themselves with passion and energy.
